"Caller Identification (ID) FCC Website
If you have caller ID, a telemarketer is required to transmit or display its phone number and, if available, its name or the name and phone number of the company for which it is selling products. The display must include a phone number that you can call during regular business hours to ask that the company no longer call you. This rule applies even if you have an EBR with the company, and even if you have not registered your home phone number(s) on the national Do-Not-Call list."
Attention candidates running for the At large seat special election. One of your campaigns robo called us to ask about who would vote from come #Four26.
I was pretty annoyed that they did have a listing and then when the line picked up to hear someone reading from a script. Let alone those pesky ~ FCC regulations. I didn't get to find out who they where or answer the question as the line when dead.
In the FUTURE please just stop and try to follow most of these rules it's a needed skill for the position.
Frankly......I have no idea how I'm voting for because I don't have enough information as to what they plan to do once they get elected. I have provided a means for a discourse to be started with a series of question and I supposer they are just two hard since none of the candidates took the time to answer them.
Candidates can either answer one @ http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=116138961779204&topic=681
or a whole bunch them @ http://8wards39clusters.blogspot.com/2011/01/questions-for-those-running-for-open-at.html
Not sure why they would want to engage with citizens it's the least they can do for the 100k part time job.
